I guess the sugar-coating on the bitter pill is that we’ve not had to suffer this indignity on the regular this season.

Sometimes it’s so easy to forget how close the margins are between teams. If you’re not at 💯 you will get found out. Yesterday felt like a day when we’d run out of gas

That is horrendous.

That platform really is a place of scum and villainy.

This isn’t perfect, but by Christ it’s a million miles better than that hellhole.

Amazing!! Well deserved. Such a huge part of our Arsenal supporting lives.

Keep being fucking excellent.

Fab work.

Surely there would have to be a referendum to fix it… no?

Labour, sadly, didn’t get elected with a mandate to do that.

I’m all for getting us back into Europe, Brexit has completely screwed the UK.

He’ll be desperate to kickstart his AFC career - he was on a solid run before his injury. He can see how Trossard is performing, how Saka is performing and must be thinking “what do I have to do to get mins?”

I think we forget the joy of players just being back on the pitch, doing what they love ❤️

Another super read. 💪

I’d love him to stay injury-free. Even if his career ultimately takes him elsewhere, he’s had one hell of a time recently and just deserves to play.

Brilliant!

Frankly the amount of people who’ve become suddenly patriotic to the tune of a certain political narrative (despite all previous behaviours) is laughable.

Raise that flag and get a free mug. Of course, they don’t even realise they’ve already been mugged off.

Gutted for him. Heartbreaking

This is stonkingly good. 👍

A brilliant read. 👏

And more himself than anyone I know…

Totally agree with all of this, albeit I will bow down to knowledge of the defensive angles.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Trossard run so much. I really rate him so this new evolution is very, very welcome.

Timber just gets better and better. What a player.

Looking forward to the feast of chances they’ll create for Gyokeres.

Can see him getting some goals today. Deep defence, but opportunities from through balls to him and his ability to finish will be important.

That’s one of the real struggles with the WSL the games growing faster than the quality of refereeing.

They need to look at it and look to recruit from outside the UK if the talent isn’t here.

Glad to see Lotte back in. I think she’s a tremendous player and I’m not sure why she’s been overlooked this season. I appreciate the emergence of Katie Reid, but Lotte’s already so experienced. She deserves this opportunity

He is absolutely low-key bossing every game he plays in. Already one of the first and most essential names on the team sheet for me.

He adds a level of control that we haven’t seen here at Arsenal.
October 2, 2025 at 6:32 AM
Seriously this level of analysis isn’t seen enough.

Top work. Chapeau my man. I am totally here for this. ❤️
October 2, 2025 at 6:29 AM
Absolutely agree re Gyokeres, I find it encouraging that the connections are starting to form and they’re finding his runs.

Odegaard being back in this team is going to be huge for him. Out of every player we have, Odegaard is the one that holds the technical keys to this team and will unlock Gyok

Genuinely I had real fear that the football gods were going to screw us again.

We did enough to win it twice over. Delighted with the result and my guttural shout when Gabi’s header went in had the Dog scuttling to see if I was injured.

The wife just shouted at me to shut up. 🤫

Best result ever

Gutted, the circus tent idea totally hit the ethos of the club.

Where’s its identity going to come from now?
September 27, 2025 at 7:32 AM
Done. ✔️

I go to a fair bit of non-league counties football up here and there’s a lot of them. I’ve winced a few times as players have clattered into them.

The home ground for Ashton Town FC has horse racing style barriers rather than solid hoardings. Miles safer.
