I think the next question a lot of us are asking now is “what do we do if meta actually does buy TikTok.” I was already active on IG before the ban and continuing there already feels like a big compromise. What are we thinking?

Definitely don’t feel like it’s a coincidence Zuckerberg has been dialing up right wing red flags and simultaneously positioning meta to be the buyer for TikTok under a fresh Trump presidency. I’d love to be wrong about this.

I’ll say this. My TikTok account, never once hacked. But I’m basically sharing an Instagram account with like 6 dudes and at least 2 bots at any given point in time.
