this is reminding me of the hype around hustlers and that # tweetyourhustle campaign on twitter. so many sex workers, including me, were suspended from twitter for literally "tweeting their hustle" and never, not once, did the cast acknowledge it.
I’m also finding that audiences are reading Mikey Madison’s win, as a win for w0rkers. I’m interested in that. I do not know at all if Madison has ever been a w0rker, but there is a little patronization manifesting through that win.

This is in the same vein of what a lot of sex worker rights activists have been talking about while touching down on the question of formally anonymizing versus full deletion of content. Sex workers are early adopters who drive significant traffic to emerging sites then get uniformly booted later.
We are the labor, the producers, of the internet's social platforms.
Our only value to them is what they can monitize and the minute we are too controversial for advertisers those platform will remove us. They will complete the digestion of our identities and spit us back out as generic 'content'
