Received a notice from the German Consulate in Los Angeles today that my husband and kids have a valid case to apply for German Citizenship!

We had our visa appointments this morning to apply for residency in Portugal! Very glad that big step is done!
Now we wait to hear if our visas will be approved.

Here's some of our Halloween revelry! Slug with a side of sautéed maggots and some eyeballs. My (completely adult children) wanted one of our traditional SPOOKY dinners. They had so much fun with this type of thing when they were kids.

Did I eat tteokboki during episode 11 of "Pump Up the Healthy Love"? Yes, I did. But I also lifted weights and am getting on the treadmill for episode 12.
I was laughing so much at the spinning - so many tropes that really don't go as you expect.

Apr. 7 (continued) We had dinner at the Gamhae Cafe overlooking the ocean. Our hotel was a 5 min walk to the beach. Although it was windy and a bit chilly, some buskers were out. There is a really nice park near the beach too.
