Minns knows this is untrue. NSW Police do not need more powers, they need to stop providing police protection to Nazis. Same applies to Victoria Police.

I was a kid when Whitlam was sacked.

My folks were among the middle class who believed the propaganda and voted Fraser.

As a kid it felt wrong. As an adult I know it was wrong.

This incident, fifty years ago today, should continue to inform us on how Australian politics really works.

The mayor of Tamworth Council is a very old mate of Barnaby Joyce's and a National party member

No surprises this backward collection of red-necks drags their council to court on their ratepayers' money to oppose a wind farm - and even then can't get their legal arguments right
Tamworth Council went to court to try and stop a wind farm. It didn’t go well. Tamworth Council argued that the wind turbines would be too big for local roads. The judge pointed out there is no approval needed to drive on a public road reneweconomy.com.au/youve-got-to...

NSW Police go out of their way to approve a Neo Nazi rally — then Premier Minns uses the “stuff up” as an excuse for *more* laws restricting free speech. The whole thing stinks of a blatantly obvious stitch-up by vested interests. Pathetic.

@chrisminnsmp.bsky.social Shame on you saying we need more laws to stop this from happening. YOU rushed in laws based on fake antisemitic attacks in order to stop protests against Israel but police can't stop nazis in front of Parliament House. I call bullshit.
In NSW, white supremacist neo-nazis are allowed to run free with their hate, racism and anti-semitism, while those standing up for justice for Palestine are relentlessly attacked, policed and vilified.

Shame on the Minns Labor government.

Like Trump, he harnessed the worst of Christian fundamentalism in coalition with Atlas's fossil fuel lobby, for power and $$.
