Great to see the photo and read this. I’ve always loved finding these in the wild. My Egyptian friends used the leaves (if memory serves) for dolmas aka mahshi waraq enab filled with rice, herbs and beef.

I very much wish for a photo, but perhaps my imagination is better. A long time ago, I moved from Austin to Brussels. I'm now back in Austin, but Brussels is always in my heart.

As a kid, I loved to run down to my friend's house two doors down. In central neighborhoods, kids are often more spread out, meaning less spontaneous play partners. Less play, less social learning, more time driving.
