The transience is the beauty of it. Of course it won't last, so hold on to it now and when you have bad times, remember the happy ones. They are what help you get thru it.

Just today. I'm tired and ready for a vacation and been sad about some things

Pretty happy, honestly. I never was able to enjoy the little things in life before, there was always something tugging me back and telling me it wouldn't last.

My PTSD has been really triggered lately, but unlike in the past when I wouldn't be able to stay regulated and calm, I've managed to not let it consume me or get stuck in old thought patterns.

This whole past week

The softest? My 13 year old came up to me and hugged me so tight for so long. I was feeling anxious and sad and I think they just knew I needed some love.
