I hate how all customer support is now beholden to the machines. Oh, I can’t help you with your very real issue because the computer won’t let me! Too bad you get no customer service, but it’s the fault of the computer! 🙄

I finally got a new iPhone but it is so big! I’m used to the SE. I cannot grip this thing properly one handed with my tiny hands! Apple, I need you to make phones for petite people too!

NEW: The music distribution platform SoundCloud updated its terms of service to allow it to use artists' uploaded music to train AI.

The change quietly went into effect last year. It looks like a lot of SoundCloud users were caught off guard.

The Met Gala this year was such a breath of fresh air. Definitely their best theme in years! People really brought it and nailed the theme, men stepped up their game, there was color and workmanship! I loved it. More of this please.

Last night I accidentally ordered delivery via robot. I had to go out to the corner of my street to meet it, but at least I got the amusement of two ladies from the funky hair salon by me deciding to deck out the robot in a blonde wig. Human whimsy truly cannot be replaced by robots.

Once again, RFK Jr. is a eugenicist
There are few things as cost effective as Narcan, especially in a country where (entirely preventable) opioid overdoses have been a leading cause of death for years. For every 6 kits distributed 1 OD is prevented. The $56M in this grant trained >66K people and distributed >282,500 kits in 2024 alone
RFK Jr. to End 'Godsend' Narcan Program That Helped Reduce Overdose Deaths Despite His Past Heroin Addiction
Despite overcoming heroin addiction himself, RFK Jr. is backing plans to cut a critical Narcan program that helped reduce overdose deaths.

Things are just shit all over. Trans people deserve better.
The U.K. Supreme Court rules that Britain's equalities law defines a woman as someone born biologically female. The ruling means a transgender person with a certificate that recognizes them as female should not be considered a woman for equality purposes.

One of hundreds of people abducted by ICE and sold to slavery in El Salvador was a 19 year old with no criminal record in the US or Venezuela and no tattoos of any kind.

An ICE kidnapper who grabbed him outside his house said, "He's not the one."

The other said, "Take him anyway."

So they did.

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

Good day to remember that a US President has no inherent power over tariffs whatsoever. It’s not like war powers or pardons. It’s entirely delegated by Congress to deal with emergencies. GOP Congress cld modify that law tonight and bring this to a screeching halt.

Hey! If you like what Cory Booker is doing right now, call your senators and ask them to do the same (now and in the future). Find their info at ☎️ reps.fyi!
This pointless stunt by Cory Booker is accomplishing nothing but drawing attention to the Trump administration’s wrongdoing and delaying the work of the Senate and energizing the Democratic base and, wait, hang on, let me come in again

This is the inevitable outcome of transphobic ideology. It harms cis people as well as trans if you don't fit a stereotype. If you don't look or act a specific way conjured up in the minds of the gender critical brigade you are, what they consider, a fair target.
