Elsa’s skirt is done! My first time lining a skirt and I won’t lie this is my second go at her skirt 😅 I do like how it’s come out but I can foresee remaking it in different fabric in future as it pulls easily

Winter is only tolerable with fairy lights and Xmas trees around, after that I’m ready to pack it all in for spring time 🎄

The outer of Elsa’s skirt is done - waiting on lining fabric to arrive then I can do waistband and hem it.

The outer of Elsa’s skirt is done - waiting on lining fabric to arrive then I can do waistband and hem it.

Elsa’s bodice is complete! I love how this looks, really pleased with all of my fabric choices. I wanted to capture Elsa’s essence without going through the normal sequin based hell for her 😅

Elsa’s bodice is almost done! Just got to add the modesty panel, which is a job for tomorrow evening. Absolutely love how this came out - can’t wait to get started on the skirt next! It should be relatively simple, but I am waiting on lining fabric to arrive for it still

Elsa’s bodice is almost at the finish line! Just made the bias trim for it so that’ll be going on next. This is the first time I’ve had my bias making tool actually work 😂 rest of the time I just cut strips out and sew them down rogue

Megacon day 2 yesterday was fun! Had a really lovely chill weekend, and I love that the con mostly had small businesses in attendance rather than big corporate stalls. Fuck all funko pop stalls too - MCM could learn from this!
