🏦🏆HISTORIC PROTECTION: The American Life Building on the Belvedere is now on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1973, it was quite the investment as people were fleeing downtown to suburbs. One of the last buildings by famed German architect Mies Van der Rohe.

Cicada anyone?! I once ate one covered in chocolate as a young reporter and it tasted like a peanut 🥜🤣. So I love Cicadas. One weekend when I was working, WHAS sent me to a Cicada invasion on a street off Frankfort Ave.... Peterson Ave!! So many they were jumping off the trees, ONTO YOU🙂

Keeneland in Lexington had some amazing spring days this week. I'm always stunned by the # of Louisvillians AND Kentuckians who've never been here or even heard of it. Central KY horse heaven for sure.

Anne and I had a wonderful time honoring the AMAZING Jordan Yuodis at his goodbye party. After serving Jefferson County in the fire service as a tremendous public servant, he's heading to Atlanta to be the public information officer/communications Chief for the Sheriff's Office there.
