Oh sorry for the confusion! I was just soaking them to wash them. I like to score them with a cross-hatch pattern and then rub salt into them. I let them sit for an hour, squeeze out the extra water, brush on some olive oil and then cook.

Is there a replacement for Facetime that works between the USA and Canada and is free? This is how I check on my Mom every day. My Dad died last year and she now lives alone. She's 80, so it can't be something complicated.

I didn't think it was that bad. I watched the whole thing and I can't say that of other movies that have gotten better ratings. I watched it with B-movie expectations.

Facebook is hard for me. I'm not sure how I'll stay in touch with all my hometown friends who live in a different country and it's proving so important with the Ca fires to let them know I was OK. *sigh* This sucks so bad.
