If pundits would like to talk about violence, a terrorist recently shot up the CDC and another assassinated Democratic officials in Minnesota but they sort of let both stories disappear

Not as threatening as motorbikes in DC I know but maybe we could circle back?

Thank goodness for storytellers.
i struggle to articulate that it's not that ive ever been passionate about any job I've have. rather, im passionate about the stories material records tell us about the past and honoring the humanity within those stories. i just have jobs that, to the untrained eye, align with that passion

I'm on the organizing committee for next year's @c19americanists.bsky.social conference in Cincinnati & what I can tell you about this year's theme is that it was the first thing anybody pitched & we were all, like, "Yep that's it."

The fastest I've ever seen five professors agree about anything.

I worked on this piece with Erin when I was jobless, and it was one of the first things @contingent-mag.bsky.social published. Today, I had the chance to use this piece in a discussion group with my coworkers as part of a three-year grant in our museum. And it was so helpful!!
