The nation’s largest private prison company is asking the Supreme Court to give federal contractors blanket immunity from lawsuits — including human trafficking claims.

If they win, private contractors could operate with even less accountability than they do now.
The Human Trafficking Case That Could Hand Government Contractors Blanket Immunity
In a little-noticed Supreme Court case, the country’s largest private prison operator argues companies should be shielded from lawsuits when doing the government’s dirty work.

One look at Steve Witkoff’s portfolio and itinerary makes it clear: a shadow trilateral is forming between Trump, Putin, and the Emir of Qatar.

The goal is to isolate Europe, rehabilitate Putin, and use Qatari wealth to fill Trump’s pockets.

Um, ICE just coldly shot an unarmed PRIEST in the head w a pepper ball when he (and everyone around him) clearly posed no threat.

For the crime of … complaining about government policy.

You can joke about Pam Bondi’s ridiculous unprofessionalism all you want, but I’m deeply shocked by it: She acts as if she fears absolutely no consequences, convinced that there will be no more political power transfers. — This should shake everyone to their core.

Scott Jennings is either lying or wildly misinformed about what happened in Chicago. He keeps claiming 37 Tren de Aragua gang members were arrested. As if it excuses zip tying kids.

DHS says 37 were arrested, and only 2 were suspected gang members.

Van Lathan gets it. We can’t lose our humanity.

Not only are the individual pages of Sections 9 (dealing with habeas corpus) and 10 (dealing with powers of Congress) of Article 1 missing from the Constitution on the .gov site, but they’re missing from the full version too, along with the end of Sect 8. Last complete version was July 17.

Parts of the Constitution were erased from the Library of Congress website, including the section featuring the foreign emoluments clause.

The removal was blamed on a "coding error."

Here's a reminder of what the clause says, just in case Congress ever decides to enforce it...
