I only want to be in solidarity with folx who also believe that I have the right to exist and thrive.. I’m wondering who/where those folx are…

Hi folx!
I recently won a sizeable grant to continue my research of Black and Indigenous women in educational leadership, across Canada. I aim to conduct interviews in Manitoba, Nova Scotia and B.C. !! Please do not tag folx. Share widely🌻✨

I’m so grateful to do this work!

This rhetoric, enslaved people learned skills that contributed to their betterment, is a big part of prison "reform" on the right and left. While they're in jail they've gone to school, learned skills, etc. as if they could not have done those things without being incarcerated or enslaved.

Peace and Nawwih!
My name is Whitneé and I’m a newbie fresh from Twitter..
I post about my experiences as a Black, Native and Queer Mama-Scholar who is living with cancer. I also post about my work as a researcher who focuses on Black&Native Solidarity in education.

Excited to connect✊🏾
