Remember, he has done the work to GROW his own organic shields. 13 of them in total, by my last count.
He could have had those shields built out of Kevlar but no - he's being eco-friendly.

I'm halfway through this book, and so far am extremely disappointed. The entire premise of what Guzman puts forth here assumes you are having conversations with people who are open to conversation and live in a world where facts are accepted as true.
None of that applies to where we are now.
