This 4th of July I will again thank our wiser forefathers, like Teddy Roosevelt and John Muir, who had the wisdom to fight to conserve these incredible resources.

But with the help of various practitioners attacking the issue from multiple angles, she’s made a good recovery and is back in the mountains where she belongs.

For someone with such incredible strength, who regularly solo mountaineers and eats multi-day backpacking trips for breakfast, it was a major adjustment to deal with weakness and pain for several years. As her father, I felt so helpless to do anything except but lend an ear.
