It's "What's In The Warehouse" Wednesday at the Forest Grove ReStore! These are in our warehouse right now: a wine cooler, a sturdy cabinet, a children's chair &a couch (& LOTS more behind these items). Our ReStore is open Monday -Saturday, 9 to 5. Sales benefit West Tuality Habitat for Humanity.

West Tuality Habitat for Humanity is making videos of some of our partner families talking about how homeownership has affected their lives. One of the ways: some can have pets for the first time. It's a simple, wonderful thing many of us take for granted. This is from one of our homeowners.

Big thanks to Catlin Gabel students who volunteered with West Tuality Habitat for Humanity (yet again!). They painted the home of an elderly Cornelius resident & West Tuality Habitat also replaced her roof. These activities means her home is sealed from rain water intrusion.

With the help of Energy Trust of Oregon, the West Tuality Habitat for Humanity critical repair program is able to replace failing water heaters, like this one for a homeowner in Cornelius. These kinds of improvements allow vulnerable homeowners to stay in their homes longer, in safer environment.

Some of our staff attended the Habitat for Humanity conference in Portland to learn more about everything from more sustainable building techniques to how to better support our partner families. There was time for some fun too. We aren't ignoring the alpaca to our right; he is, in fact, ignoring us.
