WCVB has been generous this month with several local features in & around the Parkway community. Yesterday they featured the generational figure Bob Aliano, a barber at the Rialto in Roslindale Square.

The West Roxbury Business & Professional Association welcomed the Parkway community Wednesday morning to meet & greet Boston Mayoral candidate Josh Kraft.

It was 25 years ago. Jim Hennigan saw the need, he saw the opportunity and so began the Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign at the door step of Roche Bros. WCVB Channel 5 took notice and visited with Jim & his volunteers this week.

Federal authorities are investigating a Boston city councilor and have sent subpoenas to City Hall, according to two people with knowledge of the requests. The investigation is focusing on Tania Fernandes Anderson, they said.
