Also bought Wednesday’s new album Bleeds on CD as a blind buy since having read it being described as “country shoegaze” and that had me very interested. Currently listening to it as I wait for stuff to install on my Steam Deck and so far very accurate and very good!

Watched Ep 7 of Peacemaker Season 2 and holy fuck. Vigilante has been my favorite character throughout the show but this episode just solidifies it. He’s so goddamn funny that I honestly forget how competent of a fighter he is because when he pops off HE POPS OFF. This season has been incredible 🔥

Went to a local card store yesterday and ended up finding a shiny Mabosstiff! They’re complete now and it honestly makes me so happy to have finally gotten this but to also have found it at a store! But now I think…I have to…collect more shinies?!?

1/3 of Demon Slayer’s final arc is watched! It was FUCKING INSANE. Akaza had such a valid villain crash out. I knew buying this figure was wise but that backstory holy shit.

I’ve barely even had time to process this past week that we were getting more JJK but I’m so pumped! I’m glad Akutami is strictly writing and Yuji Iwasaki is illustrating because it was very clear that doing both was having a significant negative effect on Akutami. Love the art of this guy already!

Dogra Magra also comes with extras just like Criterion and an alternate cover that I think is the original cover art? I swapped it to that because it looks really good.

Had never seen Seven Samurai but watched it immediately and I get it. I understand why it’s one of the greatest films of all time. Completely balanced in its humor and emotion along with having deep philosophical elements. 5 out of 5/10 out of 10 I can’t stop thinking about it.

Got two new books yesterday: my June 2025 Book Club pick and the International Booker Prize 2025 winner! I already started both and plan to finish them before the week is over! The World We Saw Burning will be my third Charco Press book and I’m so excited! The premise sounded fascinating!

Completely missed that the Criterion Collection was releasing a 4K edition of Sorcerer! And it’s releasing this freaking week! The B&N Criterion summer sale is coming up so I have A LOT of thinking to do!

Finished All-Star Superman a day ago and currently working on a review for it. Outstanding. Pretty sick that I’ve read two series this year about overpowered superheroes trying to do a lot of good.
