I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Well, that's quite the typo.
Sorry to the Sun-Times newsletter editors who have to deal with it, but the typo in this morning’s edition did get a laugh from me

Did you know that some PACs donate as little as 25% of what they raise to the actual Democratic candidates/party committees?

With Blue26.org (which isn’t a PAC), 96% goes directly to the campaigns, w/4% going to ActBlue’s standard cc processing fees.

None goes to me.

GOP sore loser and state Supreme Court Justice wannabe, Jefferson Griffin, is now officially a ghoul, feasting on the flesh of those who gave their lives in defense of what's left of our country. Every veteran and servicemember should decry this.
Army Captain Rebecca Lobach, one of three who perished in the Blackhawk helicopter crash Wednesday, is on the list protested in the 2024 NC Supreme Court race on the grounds she did not provide an ID with her military absentee ballot. #ncpol assets.nationbuilder.com/ncgop/mailin...

My dad died. Classic start to a funny story. He was buried in a small village in Sussex. I was really close to my dad so I visited his grave a lot. I still do. [DON’T WORRY, IT GETS FUNNIER.]

Stadium has these new speed bumps but they are only in the middle of the lane so they can destroy your car if you have a lowrider. Fun watching everyone just drive in the bike lane instead of risking it.

Conservatives are years ahead on this.
When I read a new interview from Harris’s Dep Campaign Manager, it hit home for me because it was something I have warned about for years. Dems are losing the Information War, but there is one big way they can turn things around. open.substack.com/pub/meidasto...

Thanks for sharing this, and the link to the doc (in thread)--yes, this is critical. The OKC bombing is comparable in American history only to Pearl Harbor and 9/11, and hardly anybody remembers it as what it was: an act of domestic terrorism by the white power movement. (1)
