The only way I even heard about the school shooting in CO was from comments on posts about the death of Charlie Kirk. How does the death of 1 person outweigh the news of yet another school shooting?

the firearms were destroyed. When the investigation concluded their was no threat, the firearms obviously couldn't be returned. In some cases, the firearms were antiques dating back to the Civil War and irreplaceable. 2/2

I agree that red flag laws can work. But, there needs to be more accountability on the part of law enforcement. There have been cases of red flag laws used as a grudge or by anti-gun advocates when no threat existed. When the firearms were removed from the home pending investigation... 1/2

Exactly. The only people who should be releasing that type of information would be law enforcement, backed up by photos. Otherwise, all it does is raise devicive rhetoric. But, if law enforcement does indeed find that writing on the ammo, maybe the writing could be traced to the purchaser.
