If we divorce, if he dies, or I'm assaulted his vasectomy doesn't do anything for me. Instead of acting like women seeking sterilization is this radical daunting thing maybe teach women about it and give them options to keep their health in their hands instead putting all of that on their partner.

I didn't know sharing my tube removal would lead to men explaining vascectomies to me when like vascetomies are ONE part of it. And if you dont want kids relying on a man to get one is putting your agency and choice in someone else. I made my decision for me. Over valuing vasectomies is weird.
