Two Trees Island. Stay with other campers at the end of the drive. No facilities. Might look a little dodgy, but no issues. Lots of cars in and out.

Dover, night before the ferry. Free overnight parking with ✅🚽 but locked overnight. Great for early ferries. Town's a game of two halves - nice looking wine bars, but then a bit rough around the edges. Not unsafe though.

Metz great bustling city. Plenty of cool bars including Les Berthom. We had curry outside the beautiful cathedral. Parking limited here.

1st campsite of this trip. Great facilities and nice walk into nature (or ski, in winter).

Lake Geneva. Stunning medieval town with plenty of bars and restaurants. Can get ferry's to other parts - we went to Nyon and then got a train to the mountains. Stunning views and great beer and burger.

Get the car ferry.
Plenty of parking options, we parked by hospital. Quiet. Theres a designated camper park €12 a day (€6 to charge up for 6 hours)
Shower by the public beach. Can swim too.
