We went on a Historical Seattle tour of the Fischer Flour Mill today. The historic flour mill is being converted into movie recording studios. The first photo gives an overview. The 2nd shows old equipment, the 3rd shows a room with sound-proofing. The last shows the new name.

Finally got the last of the parts in and finished fixing the mixer for Katy's Cafe.

Got the oven fixed at Katy's Cafe. Now on to the KitchenAid mixer. Problem was a broken spring in the speed control system.

New motor installed, but added nuts on the other side of the sheet metal to keep the motor mounting screws tight and avoid wobbling. The motor is to help circulate hot air in the oven, not for dancing with loose screws.

Threading electric motor mounting screws to threads in sheet metal led to loose screws and oven motor wobble. Over time that wobble got the bearings to wobble, which lead to this very sad rotor.
