it's certainly not the most groundbreaking fantasy world ever but it's very elegantly told and feels very fleshed out without extensive lore-dumps like most fantasy comics usually do. also there's a cute mouse girl

his paneling and environments and everything are still totally on-point too. i never realized how much i wanted to see a fantasy comic from him until now

like look at this. he definitely switched to digital and stopped using nearly as much ink but i swear to god this dude just draws completely differently now. not a bad style change at all, it just surprises me considering how grimdark blame and abara are
