Admitting to myself that I bought this houseplant because it would make a pretty painting.
A peacock plant on a white plastic pot. Peacock plants have broad, oblong shaped leaves with thick, deep green and thin light green stripes. The underside of the leaf has burgundy-tinted thick stripes and light pink tinted thin ones.

This framing goes well past what the headline does. Their social media editor should not have that job.

Experimented with acrylic skins and fabric today while I wait for these side effects to get gone.

All of the milky white patches will dry to a clear finish eventually.

Not sure how authentic this avgolemono soup is, but it tastes pretty great. (I’ll add less dill for my next bowl.)
A bowl of avgolemono-inspired soup. It’s a creamy textured light yellow soup, topped with green dill fronds. The soup gets its color from tempered egg yolk.
