My son was mowed down by a hit-and-run driver in Portland, OR on Dec 21, 2022. He is now quadriplegic. Medicaid saved his life and continues to help him. He needs SNAP. He's self-sufficient and positive, but he needs this help. He was a contractor who cannot work; a surfer who cannot surf.

Remember that money that is earned by us and then deducted from our paychecks? It goes to Social Security and Medicare. Not an 'entitlement'. Snark: Entitlements are the tax breaks that millionaires get.

Went to buy some silly art yarn on TEMU. At checkout, I got this. I bailed out. Good on TEMU for calling out the 145% tariff for what it is—"import charges". Yes, 145%. Maybe now some people might realize what it was they voted for. Regular people drive around and deliver TEMU. They'll lose jobs.
