🥶 A chilly night again tonight with the east seeing the coldest temperatures where clear skies linger!

Temperatures dropping down to -2°C or -3°C, warmer in the west and north with the sea breeze.

Risk of frost so gardeners take note!

🌡️ Warmest Day of 2025 on my weather station in Kerry!

🥵 14.2°C recorded today which is over 10°C warmer than parts of the country!
🥶 Lough Fea reached only 3.2°C so far today!

Winds in the south west are forecast to reach 100km/h with coastal areas possibly exceeding this for a time.

⚠️ Ice will likely be an issue overnight also!

Less cold in the north of the country with the onshore breeze and some cloud cover.

As I predicted!

🚨 Weather Alerts Ireland HQ in KERRY has now moved into RED WARNING CRITERIA! 🚨

Mean Wind Speeds now at 83.3km/h

Really cannot understand why Met Eireann did not put Kerry in Red Warning Criteria!!!

Just to note the weather station is at the required 10 metres with no obstacles.
