The Inflation Reduction Act allocated $1.55 billion to mitigating methane pollution from fossil fuel infrastructure. Does anyone know how much of that money went out, where it went, or how much avoided methane pollution taxpayers got as a return on that investment? Surprisingly little info online.

But Matthew, consider: Tarantino is a jackass who “borrowed” most of his ideas and almost killed Uma Thurman.

Meanwhile you got to work with David Lynch.

There’s not a single filmmaker who is so magically good it should excuse them being a bully. Not one. Give their money to someone else. We have plenty of talent and too many assholes hogging the resources.

Matthew Lillard is beloved by so many people.

Quentin Tarantino makes women on film sets uncomfortable (not to mention the chokings), nearly killed Uma Thurman, and was besties with Weinstein KNOWING what he was doing.

Anyone still a fan of Tarantino in 2025 is an actual embarrassment of a human.

2. Retcon Alien: Covenant and give Prometheus a proper sequel

It's wild in a way that I can think of two movies offhand that cracked the code on this: The Matrix and Everything Everywhere All At Once.

And the code is this: you can get audiences to accept profound concepts with a judicious application of wire-fu.
movie studios do not exist to create art. they create content to make money for owners or shareholders. sometimes by either accident or against the will of the executive committee, a movie production manages to elevate itself to art, and that’s great. also, rare.
