I’m not an apologist and this governor has a history of being on the wrong side of history, but this seems to have hit him differently. He’s spoken the quiet part out loud. I’m hoping this may have flipped some people. I’d like to think it’s backfiring on the right.

So I’ve seen a lot of Harp players and there’s this flair with their hands they do when hitting certain notes. They all do it. Is this stylistic or something a part of the instrument?

I think the way to go here is “I don’t condone killing or violence against anyone. I am and always have been a stalwart proponent of constructive dialogue over ignorance and violence.” and just leave it there. Rest in peace is a bit much for this particular “person”.

John Wilkes Booth was associated with the Know-Nothing Party, whose platform was anti-immigrant and anti-catholic. He was also a confederate sympathizer. So, not a democrat. He’d be MAGA in modern day. So get fucked. And you’re not a patriot if you support a pedophile.
