Corporate “personhood” was never meant to serve as a constitutional doctrine for political rights.

The Constitution was written for people — living, breathing citizens — not artificial entities.

Black people and women fit this description and should have been included.

In the 1800s, courts treated corporations as “artificial persons” to:
• own property
• enter contracts
• sue and be sued
• be held liable

1st to reverse in the Supreme Court is that artificial personhood includes free speech.
Next? Corporations don’t have to answer anything per 5th amendment?

Count on local #newspapers poetically not owned by huge media conglomerates to fight on behalf of their city & region instead of their advertisers.

I bet if a bunch of House Rs were also made eligible for raiding the Treasury it would've come out different...
