I loved Scott & Kip but I got so excited with the tiny glimpses of Shane & Ilya 🥹

I can’t believe it’s another week before we get them back though 😭

That’s who The Smashing Pumpkins have always been for and I can still appreciate them as a perimenopausal woman in my 40s 🤣

I saw The Smashing Pumpkins on this album tour when they played a bull ring in Cascais, Portugal in the pouring rain when I was 16
No cameras or cell phones so all I have is the memory of screaming along at the top of my lungs with all the melodrama of a teenager who feels deeply misunderstood

This album was essential during my angsty teen years and even though my taste in music is very different these days, these songs still tap into a sense memory of hating everything and everyone when I was 15/16 and tbh in 2025 those vibes are strong
