I slept straight after taking off from DOH and requested my pre ordered meal to be served around 2.5h before landing. It worked. Slept some 4hrs. My jetlag wasn't too bad! Only thing was that I just had to mentally convince myself that I was having butter chicken for breakfast 😂

Great you can conpare the 2 carriers back to back. Yes, on the inbound journey, your mood will be different for sure....hope the QR service will make up for it somewhat 😊

You are so right there! Our first leg to DOH was great with the WiFi. Then the second leg on these leased planes, the WiFi was non existent....luckily, their IFE has lots of content 😅

Yes, most times when we flew QR to HKG, they used these planes on this sector. Sadly, the interior is showing signs of wear and tear. The cushioning on my seat seemed to have had better days. On the plus side, you get the superb QR onboard service 😊

Yes, and they tend to use them on their HKG route much. The first time flying in them gave us, who used to fly CX much, a strong sense of familiarity of the cabin, yet a bit strange at the same time with QR instead of CX crew!
