#Sustainability faces headwinds created by Trump’s anti-ESG and anti-renewables rhetoric and policies. But investors are smarter than Trump and - despite their reputation for short-terminism - are putting their money in the #cleantech growth markets

The collapse of the Net Zero Banking Alliance is regrettable. But don’t imagine this is the end of #sustainable #finance.

Good(ish) news! We're bending the #CO2 curve. For the first time, the #UN has predicted a fall of #emissions: 10% by 2035. Of course it falls way short of the 60% needed to stay within 1.5 degrees, but it is a significant milestone nevertheless.

The market cuts through the political posturing, Republican rhetoric and Trump tirades in the U.S. Clean tech companies are just better investments than fossil fuels today. Why? Could it be - going out on a limb here (not) - because they are the FUTURE?

A few years ago, skeptics about #BEV #trucks were everywhere. Range anxiety, battery weight, cost, charging infrastructure - the list of barriers were endless. #Hydrogen fuel cells were touted as a better alternative. Well, the market doesn't lie.

#Solar installations surged by 64% in the first half of the year, compared to the same period in 2024. The growth was led by #China, but #India also deployed near-record amounts of solar, while #Africa saw the technology begin to “take-off”

Another insightful chart on recent growth in the share of electricity from renewables. Here #Lithuania tops the table, while China and the US don't feature in the top 20, suggesting that China's renewables growth is satisfying overall growing demand for energy
