A few more tea toned Cyanotypes that I made a while back - the beginnings of a new project that was put on hold but I’m hoping to start again soon.
As with every stage of the book design process, it’s all about conversation and collaboration. Marc and I chose a dark grey Brillianta cloth that contrasts and complements the Swiss-bound cover shades and the case lining—tones that echo those found in Marc’s work.
Details are very important to the design and construction of a photobook.
For The Edge of Ruin and the Swiss binding cloth, myself and designer @wayneford.co.uk chose a Wicotex Brillianta cloth from Winter & Company, whom have been making materials since 1892.
