They worked up a real appetite after being out on the water and were greeted back at the Traceys Cottage with homemade wood fired pizza, which was absolutely delicious. A fabulous day had by all!

Such a fabulous morning in WAVE Belfast with the immensely talented Dave at his sunflower art workshop. And no, for those worrying the boots are fine ! It was a morning of peace and tranquility and so many beautiful pieces were created which are stunning.

Tomorrow as part of the Docs Ireland film festival in Belfast Heather Brumley’s amazing film ‘After the Bomb’ will be shown in the Ulster Museum at 12.30md.

Docs Ireland is Ireland’s international documentary film festival. It showcases the work of film makers such as Heather Brumley.

Today we remember Seamus Ruddy on the 40th anniversary of his disappearance. Seamus was a much loved son, brother & uncle.

For 32 years his body had been secretly buried near Rouen in France. Thankfully, Seamus’s body was recovered eight years ago and brought back to Newry for Christian burial.

The retirement of Jon Hill is truly the end of an era.
For nearly 20 years Jon has worked tirelessly to find those murdered and secretly buried during the Troubles. His contribution to the success of the ICLVR has been immense. The Families of the Disappeared wish Jon a long & happy retirement.

Such talented men. And there were so many happy faces. Some painted and some not!!!

The men’s group were a brilliant help and as ever there was such gorgeous food, jam and cakes. A big thank you all particularly Kathy, Nichola, Emma & Heather.

We have an amazing programme set up. Games, soft play, food, an Easter hunt and some fab music from Celtic Soul. Some jams to buy and there will be some lovely cake and food available.

It’s going to be a good night- totally Hoppin Boppin good !!! And remember bring your rabbit ears ! 🐰

The Mass for the Disappeared is this afternoon at 3pm in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh. A poignant afternoon when we remember those who have not been recovered and those brought home to their families for Christian burial.

Residential for the families of the Disappeared is underway. We have a lot to talk about as we develop a plan for the year ahead. The Mass for the Disappeared is tomorrow at 3pm in St Patrick’s Armagh. All welcome.
