Gun violence is a tragedy. Always. In the past two weeks we've seen it wreak havoc on elementary students, teens, and a college campus. Every day across our country, people are shot in events that barely make the news. Our hearts break for all those impacted. We will never stop working for change.

Governor Evers included in his budget proposal: Funding community violence intervention, office of school safety funding, background checks as part of all guns sales, an extreme risk law.
