Two years ago I decided to start rereading the Doctor Who Virgin New Adventures, for the first time since they were originally released. I came crashing to a halt at the dull third book, which I remembered nothing of. Well this week I pushed my way through. I can see why I had forgotten it!

Late to the War Games this evening but bloody hell the colourisation is fantastic and it’s moving at a cracking pace. Absolutely brilliant. What a Christmas treat.

I’ve been really enjoying watching Doctor Who season 25 special editions with my son. Watching Silver Nemesis again for the first time in about a decade, though, just confirms it as my least favourite McCoy story by quite a stretch.

Two viewings of Wild Blue Yonder and it finds itself in my very top tier of Doctor Who. So many great things to pick out but the performances have to be at the very top. Just wonderful.

Well Doctor Who was utterly wonderful this evening. Had no idea where it was going to go and loved every second of finding out. Also my 9 year old spent it curled up on knee, terrified. Which is as it should be.
