I won’t go into all the detail about my car breaking down 100 miles from home and 40 miles from the nearest dealership but this shows a sample of the drive back up the coast to pick it up yesterday. Makes all the hassle a little easier to manage. Video doesn’t do it justice.

I’ve been extremely busy and a lot of bad and good things have been happening but in the midst of it all I spent several days dogsitting this little goofball.

Attention! 🚨🚨🚨 I now have a third grandcat! He is a Van; hence the unusual coloring. As yet unnamed but it will be an Armenian name due to his breed. He was a rescue!

I have slept to unheard-of late hours these last two weekend mornings. It’s like I finally feel I can relax? It’s blissful. I am in my element and no longer have to worry about selling my house or what is going to happen next. I am home in paradise. Here’s a shot I took on my way to the doc on Fri.

It’s a sad sad day, but after almost two weeks I had to manually remove the farewell party Pink Pony tat (with tape) because I’m going to the derm today for a skin check.

Ready for the goodbye party with the IL extended fam. We’re down to 5 days til I’m out the house and 7 days til I’m on a plane west. Goddess willing and the FHA appraiser is satisfied with the 7 hours of work that went on at my house today.

Looks pretty negative to me! I have to work elsewhere tomorrow (sbux, library) b/c I’m getting a new electrical panel and my power will be out all day. So relieved I can safely go maskless.

This is not retouched nor is it AI. This is the amazing parallel-parking job (on the LEFT side of the street no less) that I accomplished at the Santa Barbara farmer’s market today in my rental. Not a scratch on any of the cars, either. Appears to defy the laws of physics.
