When we are defending in our end, there's still a lot of work to do. We have a hard time getting the ball out, especially when we are met with a high press. We hold on to the ball too much around our box and lack something like the automatisms that Conte had.

I think there's scaffolding that Frank is building. Our rest defense is really good and we are rarely caught out of position and generally stifle our oppo in the middle of the pitch. When I hear "defensive improvement" this is what I see.

Also also, Manny Jacinto was in this and therefore there exists the possibility that Jason Mendoza could exist in this universe and that makes this movie 100x better. We need flashback seasons of Jason and Pillboi scheming to steal fighter jets.

This was all terribly disappointing because I really liked Joseph Kosinski's Tron and Oblivion (tho they both went 20 mins too long as well). Movie could have used more Powell, and it turns out Bill Pullmans son is in a fighter jet movie and didn't do the ID4 rallying speech.

In the movies romantic moments, I expected a stripped down acoustic version of Danger Zone and was disappointed that I didn't get it. Also, the Kenny Loggins estate must charge a fortune for that song cuz they only used it once.

Also smiley Tom Cruise is weird and I thought the couch jumping thing made it widely known that no one wants to see him too happy. And holy crap this thing has a 96% rotten tomato score. Did the US military pay for reviews as well as tickets to this?

A fact of life is that no one is impressed by anyone over the age of 55 and that's this whole movie. We are supposed to believe boomer Mav is better than these young kids and that his only problem is they don't respect him enough.
