Doesn't it seem reasonable to have some limit on the # of pardons any president can do in any given year? It seems this president is intent on pardoning anyone willing to buy their way out, so I wonder what the backroom deal is for each one.

He doesn't strike me as a fall-guy... my guess is he'll take them all down with him. Bring on the international war crimes tribunal!

Why is it up to the President whether a major modification to the white house is done? Maybe there should be a law stating that no major remodel like this can be completed during the current regime's tenure? Before tRump, who ever though we NEEDED a ballroom at the White House?

How is that at all legal, let alone a requirement for her to represent the people that voted her to this position? She should immediately cast her vote... the formality of being "sworn in" can happen after Johnson pulls his head out of tRump's a$$.

It soundsd like the Pentagon needs better cyber-security professionals. Why would they allow anyone to install anything that's not specifically allowed on a government computer? Sounds like a hole that should be plugged.

They don't care... they know it's going to take a while to go through the legal process and by the time they're done the damage will be done and likely unrecoverable. This would all change if the Felon was personally financially liable for all legal costs if his actions were deemed to be illegal.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just comply? They've admitted to the error, but fixing it is inconceivable? It's just insane the SCOTUS would support this. This should be a slam-dunk. tRump violated a court order. tRump should be required to give Garcia one of those "gold cards" he's peddling.

this "savings calculator" - I'm guessing all that "savings" is to fund the tax rebates for the wealthy? How do you factor in the cost (or "savings") of destroying our relationship with our (now former) allies around the world? "Canadian Bacon" was supposed to be a comedy, not part of Project 2025

His disdain for Americans is not just limited to Veterans. I'm not sure we can survive his interpretation of "Making America Great Again" - as many of his hat-wearing supporters are now realizing. If this is winning, can we go back to losing (where we haven't pissed off the entire world)?

Why would we have electric vehicles on a battlefield? They'd be sitting ducks while charging - IFF there were charging stations wherever they needed to be deployed. DUMB!

Why would we have armored teslas (or any other battery-operated vehicle) out on the battlefield? We already don't have sufficient charging stations in the US, but suddenly there will be some at a yet-unknown battlefield? DUMB!!!

What about the part where "recipients of DOT support or assistance" will be prohibited "from imposing vaccine and mask mandates"? I guess we wouldn't have to worry about that if the CDC can no longer communicate with us about the next pandemic... ignorance is bliss, right?

I'm curious which of the presumably many offshore bank accounts all that tariff money will go to - or whether it will just be used to justify tax breaks for the rich?
