I keep coming back to this play and I also wonder what 3B coach Carlos Febles was thinking about. IKF should have scored by so much that Rojas’ throw is only for show at that point.

The Dodgers have started each of the last two seasons early and with travel to Asia. They played through the end of October last year. Monday night’s game might have pushed them over the edge. (Or they might win two in Toronto and put an end to this thread.)

He got run for after leading off the 12th. That’s six full innings plus going back out for the 18th. Believe it or not, that’s 104 pitches that Heineman caught instead of Kirk. Smith caught them all!
