I've been going through my photos, seeing what's there. Here is a little gem I completely forget about. A nice California Poppy in far Southern Arizona from the spring of 2019.
It's a pre COVID Poppy. Gotta be something special about that, right?

My latest adventure took me to the coast of Oregon and California. Many people come here for the ocean views and the giant Redwood trees. Indeed that is among the reasons I was there. But I also was there to search out fungi. Here is one of the many that I found.

It is a nice end to the day when the sun sets completely on the horizon on the Oregon Coast. A bit of green flash on the upper limb of the broken apart sun due to the Novaya Zemlya effect

Last week there were some tremendous waves on the Oregon coast. I didn't see them ☹️ I had other commitments. But it did stir memories of our visit to the Oregon coast this past July. No big waves, but it was fun.
