Argh. I participated in a project that has a celebration event tonight and I have to decide whether I want to make the trek to Southie. Where with traffic ubering is about the same time as the T.

I know if I don't go I'll have some FOMO but I don't know if it's enough to force myself to go.

Running out of PT appointments for the year (pro tip, try to avoid seeing two providers at once) gotta save the remaining 12 for whatever program the surgeon wants.

Even though I stopped updating the thread I've continued to log exercises. Tomorrow I have a surgery consult and an MRI for my hyper mobility in my lumbar spine area (Spaulding doc flagged it) not sure how much PT I'll log tomorrow.

It was more that I needed an excuse to get over to Assembly and take a photo for a challenge. (52 Frames, Reflection)

But I still ended up buying a new pair of dark wash jeans to replace the pair with an unfortunately located worn spot, a new pair of black pants and a couple "adult" tshirts.

Hit 3 weeks in a row. Next Tuesday I meet with the surgeon.
I'm also trying to be more mindful of how symptomatic I feel but that's difficult since it changes so much. Left, right, pain, tightness (One of the reasons why this is so atypical)

Glad I started doing this now, in case I am a candidate for surgery I'd need to be extra careful with whatever PT they assign after.

Emailed my PT and asked for squats to be officially added to the program, and to remove the exercises I wasn't doing. Not seeing her again until September, after I have a consult with an orthopedic surgeon.

I copied my novel and renamed it "the one where I stop being a track changes hoarder"

I have commitment issues and a *lot* of my edits were in track changes. So I went through and accepted 95% of them. 😅

Went to the gym (weights)
Squats haven't made it to my official program yet but I do goblet squats as part of my workout anyway. Trying to throw some single leg squats in too.

Yes I have a program set up by my PT on an app (medbridge). But it didn't really stick until I tried doing it in chunks... So of course I started a spreadsheet. Day 11. The *** in the spreadsheet was to make sure I did side leg lifts since it'd been 5 days.

My brain is telling me to go to jp licks even though I have over half a pint of ben and jerry's in the freezer from a Market Basket trip a whole month ago.

I have a really cute ice cream bowl that helps with portions.

Yesterday I split my bridges, did one normal set and one marching. Would have done tonight's exercise a little earlier but SNW froze on me for a hot minute!

Went to the gym. Did goblet 🏋️squats and stationary lunges. I gotta try single leg squats soon or else I won't have any muscle memory. Knee wobbles too much.

Wall sits and single leg balances.

7 straight days of logging *at least* something in the app.
Guess I really needed a social media thread 😅

Went to PT at MGH and tried single leg squats 👎 also had a really painful massage. Stuck to side leg lifts and side planks to keep my "streak" alive.
