If your process for publishing by far the most important document of the year is to cross your fingers and hope nobody fucks up then well, you don't have a process and should put some time into thinking one out!

Most timbered houses seem to have the infill flush with the timbers anyway, so it's probably more correct to do it like this - that said I do love the look of protruding timbers!

In 2020 I ran Horrorstor online, replacing the Jenga tower with a game of reverse hangman - it worked pretty well but doesn't quite have the same level of tension

I don't think having a valid reason for having the object necessarily implies being allowed to carry it openly on the street where it's accessible. I fence, but I wouldn't expect to carry my longsword unbagged on the tube!
