Imagine buying fuel, like diesel, every week to run a noisy engine for many hours every day to generate expensive electricity, and every week you needed to go buy more fuel to burn

Or else, imagine you just collect the sunshine that falls on your roof and turn sunlight to electricity
(And no noise)

I can’t believe that because Nazis booed at the Welcome to Country, the discussion is now about whether Welcome to Countries have a place at all and if they’re “overdone”?

Are you kidding me?!

We have a BYD Seal and rooftop solar. We charged our car before Cyclone Alfred and when we lost power, we used our car to run our fridges, internet, lamps and power of mobiles. Had enough for up to 10 days.

Such a feeling of security in a storm. Batteries next (but check house insurance).

Dutton wants to unwind Work From Home arrangements for public servants-a blatant attack on working parents!

Like so many mums in Curtin, I’ve spent 19 years juggling kids and work.

How does WFH allow you to be a better employee and a better mum? #auspol

Now a member of the wheatbelt EV owner’s club. Step by step we will do our bit, decarbonise and electrify our lives. Also vehicle to load can be battery backup for the house, with blackouts way too frequent in our neck of the woods.

I compared 22 identical climate-related posts on Threads vs Bluesky over the last 3 months, and the difference is shocking.

Normalized engagement on Threads dropped nearly 2/3 + my following dropped, while Bluesky engagement held steady + following quadrupled.

What’s driving this?

Soil samples boxed up and off to the lab as part of Hone’s ground truthing process for their spectroscopy infield soil carbon analyser. Could be a very handy tool in regards to monitoring the effect of management on soil carbon, as part of our registered soil carbon project.

Corrigin was once a key soft wheat growing area (pre about 2010). This year I have hosted a new soft wheat variety, named Lancelin, on behalf of AGT, for market testing. It would be great to have a soft wheat back in armoury, particularly given our very Sandy soils. #agsky
