The Moon and Venus are visible together tonight. It's -3°C (26.6°F) in Wales and we're expecting snow at some point, so I wanted to get outside with the tripod and try to get a picture. My maximum zoom lens is only 300mm so that's the best I can do!

The Moon and Venus are visible together tonight. It's -3°C (26.6°F) in Wales and we're expecting snow at some point, so I wanted to get outside with the tripod and try to get a picture. My maximum zoom lens is only 300mm so that's the best I can do!

This is a picture of a stone in the wall of my grandmother's cottage in #WestWales, put there by the person who built it in 1776. We don't know who D.H was unfortunately, but it's pretty amazing to think that the house was built the same year the Declaration of Independence was signed!

#ADHD sucks for many reasons but one positive is that I am completely unfazed in an emergency. A crisis ticks all the ADHD boxes: urgency, novelty, interest. I witnessed a fairly serious car accident last year and I was able to coordinate things until the emergency services arrived. 1/2

#StormDarragh is set to blow through tonight with winds of up to 90mph. Much of the UK is both geologically and meteorologically tame, so 90mph is pretty unheard of. I'll venture out once it passes to take some photos of the "devastation".
