This vent has a screen to keep bugs out but prevents moisture from building.

I definitely would contact the seller. When I build a 49:1 transformer, I glue 3 toroids in a stack. Daily use with 1.5 KW for several years and no evidence of heating.

Anyone wish to take a guess on the cause of this interference? I am assisting another operator (N9LV). He states the new noise is detectable using a spectrum analyzer within 8 miles of his QTH. #AmateurRadio
