An idea: Have a Congressional Golf tournament where a Democrat is paired up with a Republican. let them talk it over 18 holes over multiple weekends. Nothing brings people together like sports.

I suspect that the rich want to encourage envy. It would make me feel good when somebody envied me but was unable to do anything about it.

I find it morally repugnant that Republicans argue that the poor aren't destitute and therefore don't need help.

I would be wary of people who do various activities like participating in conventions claiming they're on disability. They're likely actually rich people trying to undermine the disability program by presenting with such a lavish lifestyle while being on disability. Disability doesn't allow that.

The higher the stakes, the more emotion invested in the outcome, and the more insanity results from an undesirable outcome. Raising the stakes might make a decision come faster, but it is not always optimal.

I have insider knowledge. There is a secret room, a vault if you will, where every week's script for the NFL is kept. It is impossible to steal, because it is guarded very closely, and rewrites are inevitable, up to and including game time. Ergo headsets. Off the record on the QT and very Hush Hush.

Why is it that the rich find out about their tax refunds on liberal media, and I find out that my taxes are going to be doubled or tripled next year when I get a letter in the mail from the Social Security Administration as a "courtesy" or more like a "legal obligation".
