Going into work tomorrow seems pointless with everything going on. Like, how am I supposed to do work when the POTUS has literally said the military should be using American cities as training grounds and SecDef literally told all the top generals to prepare for war.

My family is very right leaning. I don't talk to my brothers because of this, but I still talk to my parents. I've been pulling away from my mom a little with everything going on, and we've always had an agreement not to talk politics, but she sent me a message this morning about Charlie Kirk...

That horrific video of kirk going around? That is exactly what it is like for the children who are taken by mass shooters too, the ones kirk said were the price we should be willing to pay, but the 'pro-life' magas - and kirk - have never cared about these children. 🤬

Hollow Knight is way better than I thought it would be. I've progressed further than I thought I would be able to, but now I'm stuck in the Soul Sanctum 😅

I started this 6 months ago...ran out of yarn when I was nearly finished, had to order the yarn, and didn't pick it back up till a couple of days ago 😅 Finished my first shrug though (didn't block it)

Since I started dipping my toe in #gamedev things, now when I play games or watch people play games, I start thinking about all the work that goes into programming a specific mechanic (or the whole game). I can't go back 😅

Went to the Ren Faire to meet up with my friends. They got me a ticket, they have said ticket on their person. Agreed time was 1030-1100 show time. They are very, very late as it's now 1210, and I got here shortly after 1100 😭

Missed out on a promotion again, which feels stupid to be upset about with everything else going on. But this sweet girl doesn't care and sleeps soundly either way. She means the world to me.

I don't have a lot of time to work on programming (okay, I probably do but life, relationships, work, ADHD...) so I haven't worked on anything new in a hot minute. Today, I want to implement a resource system....after I fix the character attack animation 😅 Wish me luck!

Got the constant rolling thunder and non-stop lightning going on. Had a similar storm to this last year. Way better than fireworks.

People are still setting off fireworks....The fourth is over. They started a week before the holiday, set them off till 1-2 a.m. each time, and are still going. I hate this neighborhood. I hate people.
